Bloomberg: EA to shut down Mass Effect developer BioWare plus 400 jobs cut

Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier is reporting this evening that EA is closing down the acclaimed BioWare who were responsible for the hit Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. That’s not all as EA will be slashing 400 jobs, which will be a massive blow to the individuals that are affected. The company has also decided to cancel the upcoming Mass Effect 4 project. BioWare was founded back in 1995 and was acquired by EA in 2007. Hopefully those affected by this will land on their feet elsewhere.
