BJP hails ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’

The BJP leaders have hailed the decision to approve the ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’. Senior BJP leader and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed the Delhi government’s decision to launch the Mahila Samridhi Yojana of giving `2,500 financial assistance to poor women.

“I congratulate PM Modi and CM Rekha Gupta that before coming to this event her Cabinet approved the `2,500 per month Mahila Samridhi Yojana for women in Delhi,” he said.

BJP MP from South Delhi, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri has congratulated the Delhi BJP government for implementing the Mahila Samridhi Yojana and demanded an apology from the Leader of Opposition Atishi for spreading lie for the past few days.

Bidhuri said that the BJP government has fulfilled two big promises of its manifesto within a fortnight.

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, “On behalf of the manifesto committee, we congratulate the BJP government for this great work. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the women of Delhi that the Mahila Samridhi Yojana will be implemented on March 8 and as per Modi ji’s guarantee, this scheme has been implemented.”

BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam slammed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for questioning the BJP’s commitment, challenging them to address Arvind Kejriwal’s unfulfilled promise of providing `1,000 monthly assistance to Punjab women.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva welcomed the announcement made by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta regarding a `5,100 Crore provision for the Women’s Honor Scheme in the 2025-26 Budget and the formation of a four-member committee to establish rules and registration for the distribution of the honorarium.

He said that the scheme has been implemented barely two weeks after the government formation as the party is committed to fulfill all the promises made before the assembly elections.

Sachdeva attacked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its failure to fulfill promises of transferring `1,000 to the women of Punjab.

Hitting back, Sachdeva said, “Instead of asking us for a day’s account, Atishi should answer us about the `1,000 for those 37 months. The government has been formed in Punjab for 37 months—where is the money? There is an AAP government there; why don’t you speak on that? Why is Arvind Kejriwal

acting dumb, and why doesn’t Bhagwant Mann speak on this? Why don’t you speak after announcing `1,000 for the sisters of Punjab?”

Further attacking AAP leaders, he added, “It has only been a few days since our government was formed, and governments do not run with urban Naxalism. Governments run by rules and law. Our Chief Minister and our ministers are looking after the work.”

The BJP had made the `2,500 per-month promise a key part of its campaign for the Delhi Assembly polls held in February, surpassing the AAP offer of `2,100 per month.

The strategy paid off as the saffron party secured a sweeping victory, winning 48 of the 70 seats and returning to power in Delhi after a gap of more than 26 years.
