Jeffrey Epstein with mystery woman clutches giant check from Trump
by KATELYN CARALLE, SENIOR U.S. POLITICAL REPORTER · Mail OnlineJeffrey Epstein once received a novelty check for $22,500 from Donald Trump, the Friday dump of documents related to the disgraced financier reveals.
The latest tranche includes images that further link the convicted child sex offender to prominent figures – including the president and former President Bill Clinton.
The name in the signature line reads very different from Trump's famous signature these days, but clearly reads in the designated space 'D. Trump.'
The memo line was mostly covered by a redaction box and a similarly black-boxed woman stood beside a grinning check-wielding Epstein who donned a 'USA' crew neck.
The image is a black and white scan of a framed photo that repeatedly reads along the edges the phrase 'once in a blue moon.'
So far, it's the only piece of new information found linking Trump to Epstein.
There is a publication in the files of Epstein’s contact book, which includes a redacted entry for Trump. It’s already known that the president was among those who appeared in Epstein’s contact list.
Any appearance or mention of individuals in the files does not tie them explicitly to any wrongdoing.
Hundreds of thousands of documents were published on the Justice Department website on Friday, December 19 at approximately 4:00 pm.
Internet sleuths are now combing through the files to find new information and ones that could reveal more about the extent of Epstein's crimes and his links to politicians and businessmen.
Trump is among those who power people who associated with Epstein in New York and Florida circles before his 2008 conviction and 13-month prison sentence for soliciting prostitution from a minor.

Jeffrey Epstein files released as Justice Department drops thousands of documents
While the president has not disputed his previous links to Epstein, he insists the disgraced financier was kicked out of his Mar-a-Lago club in 2007 for being a 'creep,' and claims that they no longer associated after that.
Trump also insists they were never very close.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released a trickle of information they received as part of the Epstein estate and DOJ disclosure earlier this year. This included emails, texts, passports and images of women and high profile individuals with Epstein or on his island Little St. James.
The Justice Department on Friday, December 19, 2025 reached a deadline to produce the entirety of the Epstein files.
While hundreds of thousands of documents were released, officials admitted they would not be able to make everything public on that timeline. Attorney General Todd Blanche said hundreds of thousands of documents would continue to be release in coming weeks.
