Alison Hammond says she will 'always be enough' amid split rumours
by CHLOE LOUISE FOR MAILONLINE · Mail OnlineAlison Hammond looked incredible as she confessed she will 'always be enough' following rumours that she's secretly split from toyboy boyfriend David.
The ITV star, 49, shared comparison snaps of herself with and without makeup and urged her fans to love themselves for who they are.
She looked incredible as she shared a candid snap of her posing in the gym with no makeup on Friday.
Alongside it, Alison also posted a snap of her wearing a full face of professionally created glam makeup.
Alison penned alongside her snap: 'Without or with makeup, I'll always be enough! Embrace both looks and keep real.
'Your beauty is You and the fact there ain't no one like you in the whole wide world!'
Alison has been in a relationship with 27-year-old toyboy masseuse David Putman since December 2023.
Despite dismissing their 22-year age gap and insisting David is 'mature and sensible' in an interview in December, the pair have recently spent time apart.
Alison's boyfriend was seen in an Instagram snap enjoying a sun-soaked holiday as he posed on the beach wearing an open colourful shirt.
While David rocked a beige sunhat and sunglasses as he walked along the beach, Alison stayed in the UK doing the Peter Pan pantomime in Birmingham.
The star has been doing a 65-show run at the Hippodrome playing the Magical Mermaid and is reportedly earning around £3,000 per show.
Previously Alison opened up in Good Housekeeping UK's January issue, saying she and David 'fit like a jigsaw' as she revealed their traits balance each other out.
Speaking about their 22-year age gap, Alison said: 'I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference. But honestly, when we see the word "toyboy" written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all.
'Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me: "We get it now." He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not.
She added: 'And the things he says to me...they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.'
During the interview, Alison also spoke about her loving relationship with her son Aidan - who she recently gave an emotional apology to for 'not always being there'.
'If you could feel the way my son loves me, it’s magical,' she said. 'He’s grown into such a gentleman. He helps me so much, doing things around the house.
'He gives really good advice and because he’s Gen Z, he has his finger on the pulse and tells me what’s cool.
'He’s the yin to my yang; he’s like me, but a calmer version. I’m all, ‘Woo-hoo’ and he’s more, "Mum, chill." He doesn’t try to rein me in, though.'
It comes after Alison revealed that she achieved her staggering 11-stone weight-loss without the use of Ozempic.
The This Morning presenter decided to lose weight after the death of her mum - who had raised concerns over Alison's pre-diabetic diagnosis.
But Alison, who weighed 28 stone at her heaviest, has now revealed that her key to success was simply cutting out sweets, fatty foods and exercising with a personal trainer.
Admitting that weight-loss jabs weren't for her, Alison told Good Housekeeping UK: 'I think that, for people who need to use them, they’re a good thing - but for me, as soon as I hear any scare story, I get frightened.
'So I haven’t wanted to use them, but that’s not to say I wouldn’t in the future, and I certainly wouldn’t look down on anyone who did.'
She added: 'My mum had type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening.
'I thought: "I have to be an adult about this". The sweets had to stop – and the fatty foods.
'Twice a week, I see my personal trainer and I have a couple of weights in my bedroom. I walk, I stretch and sometimes I do a bit of yoga.'
Amid her body transformation, the broadcaster opted to sell off her old size 26 clothes earlier this year for charity in memory of her late mother, who passed away from Liver Cancer in 2020.
The star has been candid about her weight struggles over the years and previously admitted she was 'so embarrassed' by her weight when she weighed more than 20 stone, she joined Weight Watchers in 2019 to focus on her health.
Alison admitted she is trolled on a daily basis about her size but refuses to slim down for others as she likes taking up 'a little bit of extra space in the world'.
