Danny Dyer and his daughter's fiance Jarrod Bowen were polar opposites as they left the after party for the premiere of his new film, Marching Powder.

The actor, 47, who has spoken publicly of how fond he is of his daughter Dani's partner, proved that despite their close bond they are quite different as they headed home after the bash on Tuesday evening in London's Soho.

While Danny immediately lit up a cigarette the minute he walked out of the venue, Jarrod left the party sipping on a juice box - hinting at his clean cut lifestyle.

The professional footballer, who plays for Danny's side West Ham, seemingly avoided alcohol at the bash ahead of training the next day.

In reference to the film's subject matter of Class A drugs, earlier in the evening Danny was pictured hoovering up a huge line of white powder on the red carpet.

Danny has previously been candid about his drug used and previously attended rehab nine years ago to try and kick the habit. He has been clean since then.

The former EastEnders star told how he would stay up all night smoking crack at the height of his addiction before seeking help.

While Danny now leads a much healthier lifestyle, his latest film highlights the detrimental impact that drugs can have.

He has insisted that the film's aim is not to glamourise or promote drug use, but rather touch on how it can destroy people's lives.

Marching Powder looks at football hooliganism and Danny has reunited with The Football Factory director Nick Love for the new film.

Danny's character is high on cocaine for much of the film and the star recently opened up on how snorting 'fake drugs' confused his brain.

He revealed that the actors were snorting vitamin d, saying: 'I was full of vitamins, but I couldn’t breathe. It’s alright at first but we was all dreading them scenes towards the end. It was like, "Oh no, I’ve got to sniff it again".

'It’' confusing to the brain, because you’re sniffing vitamins, and your brain is going, "Oh, this is odd."

As well as being joined at the after party by Jarrod, Danny was also supported by his daughter Dani, who is set to marry the footballer in the coming months.

Danny’s family’s appearance at the event was a proud moment for him as he has spoken openly about the journey of bringing Marching Powder to the big screen.

Earlier this year the 47-year-old star revealed his son would be starring alongside him in the upcoming comedy film.

While not an official sequel to The Football Factory, in which Danny played disillusioned 29-year-old Tommy Johnson, the new film follows a similar premise.

Two decades later, Danny returns to Tommy's home turf, this time playing a character named Jack, who must turn his life around or face a spell in prison.

Danny's son Arty also stars as Jack's son, JJ, and in one trailer scene he asks his father if his mother is having an affair.

The young boy's character says: 'She said that if you ever pick me up from school, means she's either dead or run of with another man.'

Other glimpses show the father and son having fun at home, tossing sweets into each other's mouths and even sporting makeup.

Speaking on his and his daughter Dani Dyer's podcast, Live And Let Dyers, Danny revealed his excitement at the film's release later this year, which sees him play party-loving Jack as he tries and turn his life around when facing a potential a spell in prison.

Praising his co-star Stephanie Leonidas, who plays his character's better half in the film, Danny also revealed there is another co-star alongside him in Marching Powder who is very dear to his heart - Arty.

'She's a very strong woman in this. I want to shout out Steph, Steph Leonidas,' he said.

'Little man's in it as well. Ooh, that's a f****** exclusive, no one knows that. Arty is in it. My son, my actual son and heir.'

'He's so good in it,' said Dani, with Danny pridefully adding: 'Yeah, he's brilliant'.

Speaking of the film in general, he quipped: 'I swear to you, this is something very, very different. You will see a lot of me doing press over the coming weeks.'
