Breaking: APC first-term governors in closed-door meeting
by Adenle Ahmed Abiola · The Eagle OnlineA total of 18 All Progressives Congress (APC) first-term governors, hosted by the Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, are currently holding a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
Newsmen have gathered at the venue in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, awaiting an official briefing once the session is concluded.
The first-term governors present represent the following states: Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa, Plateau, Delta, Ekiti, Taraba, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Benue, Kogi and Enugu.

However, the governors of Cross River, Niger, and Katsina did not attend but sent formal apologies for their absence.
