Breaking: Senegal await winner of Nigeria, Morocco match for AFCON final
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineSenegal is now waiting for the winner of the Nigeria versus Morocco match after the Les Lions despatched the Pharaohs of Egypt by a lone goal in the semi-final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Striker Sadio Mane scored for Senegal in the one-sided semi-final match against Egypt on Wednesday night (today).
Mane scored the only goal of the match in the 78th minute.
The match was a one-sided one for the Senegalese as they took firm control of the game.

They had over 69 percent possession, while the Egyptians took 31.1 percent as at press time.
Shots on goal was four for Senegal in the second half against none for Egypt.
In the first half, the Senegalese had six shots on goal.
Egypt had none.
The match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and host Morocco will start at 9pm.
