AFCON 2025: Super Eagles usual suspects start against Algeria

The must win match, in Marrakech, Morocco on Saturday (today) is billed to commence at 5pm Nigeria time.
The trio of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams are due to spearhead the attack of the Super Eagles that is expected to undo the seemingly impregnable defence of the Algerians.
Stanley Nwabali, who is between the sticks, will receive cover from Semi Ajayi, Bruno Onyeamachi, Samuel Ulayi, and Calvin Bassey, with Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, and Alex Iwobi prividing the link between the defence and the attack.
Both sides have played 20 matches in all competitions.
While Algeria won nine, Nigeria took seven, with four ending in draws.
