AFCON: Chelle lists Osimhen, Lookman against Tunisia
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe Coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has listed Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Captain Wilfred Ndidi against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in their second group stage match at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Also listed as part of the starting lineup for the match scheduled to start at 9pm Nigeria time is goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
Bright Osaka, Semi Ajayi, Frank Onyeka, and Bruno Onyemaechi are also starting the match.
Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Akron Adams make up the rest of the starting 11.

Both Nigeria and Tunisia won their first group stage matches, with the Carthage Eagles having the upper hand with a higher margin of goals.
This put Tunisia at the top of the Group C table.
A berth in the next round is almost certain for the winner of the encounter.
