by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said he would have been in Osun State to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had wanted the party to win the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

Wike said: “If the President had wanted to win the Osun State election at all costs, I would have been there and we would have won it, and there’s nothing the governor can do.”
