2027: Tinubu, Shettima on same ticket will end APC – Ayodele
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has revealed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will come to an abrupt end if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima fly the party’s ticket in 2027.
The Lagos State-based man of God said this in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, on Friday.
Primate Ayodele revealed that another Muslim-Muslim ticket will be heavily fought against nationally and internationally.
The prophet made it known that it would be a political suicide for Tinubu to go ahead with it as it would cost the party a lot and would limit the party’s chances at retaining the presidential seat.
He said: “It will be a political suicide for Tinubu and Shettima to be on the same ticket for the 2027 presidential election.
“Tinubu should see it as an end for the APC as a party because people will stand against it.
“Even Muslims and natural forces in Nigeria will go against it.
“Such a ticket will attract national and international struggles for the president, and this will limit the chances of the APC retaining victory in 2027.”

Likewise, Primate Ayodele made it known that dropping Shettima as a running mate would also cost the President a lot.
He stated that Tinubu will be in a dilemma.
He said: “Also, not picking Shettima will cost Tinubu a lot; it will cost him what he doesn’t expect, and he will be confused.”
Primate Ayodele explained that the administration has been an error from the moment they decided to go with a Muslim-Muslim ticket, and paying for the consequences or correcting the mistake will be tough.
He noted that God has never been in support of the government and that there will be more issues to be faced by President Tinubu.
He said: “The government is an error right from the moment they decided to do a Muslim-Muslim ticket, and it will be hard to correct.
“God has never been in support of the government, and that’s why a lot of things are happening.
“It will be hard for the president; only God can show him mercy.”
