PDP: Anyanwu arrives secretariat ahead of meetings by two factions + Video
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe National Secretary of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has arrived at the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Wadata Plaza in Abuja, ahead of the National Executive Committee meetings of the two factions of the party.
A video seen by The Eagle Online showed him being welcomed to the secretariat in the early hours of Tuesday for his faction’s meeting.
The meetings of his faction, which is loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to a notice shared on Monday, will have the Board of Trustees sitting together at 11am and the NEC at 2pm.
So also has the faction loyal to the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, fixed its meeting for the same national secretariat on Tuesday.
The National Chairman of the faction, Taminu Turaki, revealed this to newsmen on Monday.

This was after Turaki had met with the hierarchy of the FCT Police Command to report the Wike-led faction as planning to disrupt activities at the national secretariat.
