Osun 2026: Davido shares alleged Edo governor WAEC result amid campaign jibes
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineAfrobeats star David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has shared the alleged results of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) of the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, amid political jibes ahead of the Odun State governorship election on August 15, 2026.
This came after the Edo State Governor took a jibe at Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is the Accord party candidate.
Speaking at the rally for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress Congress for the poll, Bola Oyebamiji, Okpebholo said the people of Osun State should be tired of the dancing of Adeleke.
He said: “Before somebody signs paper, he will dance.
“Are you not tired?
“For four years, this man has been dancing.

“Before he takes breakfast, before he drinks tea, he will dance.”
Obviously in response to the jibe by Okpebholo, Davido posted the WAEC result on his Insta Story.
Nothing accompanied the image of the result, posted on Friday, which many considered bad.
