Breaking: US, Nigeria eliminate ISIS second-in-command
by Emmanuel Leke · The Eagle OnlineThe Armed Forces of Nigeria and troops of the United States of America have eliminated the second-in command of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Abu-Bilal al-Minuki.
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, announced the elimination of the terrorist in a post on Truth Social.

In the post in the early hours of Saturday in Nigeria, Trump wrote: “Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing.”
He also thanked the Nigerian government for its partnership in the operation.
