Woman slaughtered, wrist severed found inside church

The Force Public Relations Officer and a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Ani Iniedu, made this known in an update on Sunday.
According to Iniedu who provided information on nationwide operations by the police, the discovery was made by the police on Saturday.
He said “police detectives visited the scene where the lifeless body of an unidentified female was found inside a church premises at Obelewo Area, Osogbo.

“Investigations revealed that the deceased was slaughtered and her left wrist severed and taken away by unknown persons.
“The corpse was deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.”
Iniedu said the Criminal Investigation Department of the Osun State Police Command is investigating the case.
