Chelsea have reportedly placed 11 players on the transfer list as the club steps up its squad overhaul during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Blues are looking to trim the size of Xabi Alonso’s squad after spending more than £300 million on new signings ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Chelsea have strengthened the squad with the arrivals of Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck and Emmanuel Emegha.

According to The Athletic, the players available for transfer are Enzo Fernández, Pedro Neto, Malo Gusto, Benoît Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Guiu, David Datro Fofana, Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson.

The report added that Chalobah has agreed a £31 million move to Serie A side Como, while Pedro Neto has been linked with a reunion with former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca at Manchester City.

Chelsea are expected to approve more departures before the transfer window closes as they continue reshaping the squad.

The squad rebuild comes against the backdrop of an inconsistent pre-season campaign under Alonso.

Chelsea opened their preparations with an entertaining 6-4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers, producing an impressive attacking display despite conceding four goals.

However, the Blues have since suffered back-to-back defeats, losing 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in Sydney before falling 1-0 to Juventus in Hong Kong.

After three pre-season matches, Chelsea have scored seven goals and conceded seven, underlining both their attacking quality and the defensive issues Alonso will be keen to address before the Premier League campaign begins.

Chelsea will continue their preparations with friendlies against AC Milan on Saturday, Johor Darul Ta’zim on Sunday and Real Sociedad on August 15 as Alonso fine-tunes his squad ahead of the new season.
