According to multiple reports, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late that evening. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, but she was declared brought in deceased. A hospital receptionist confirmed she “had expired before she was brought in,” and her body was subsequently sent for a post-mortem at Cooper Hospital.

Journalist Vickey Lalwani noted that she arrived at Bellevue around 11:25 pm, accompanied by her husband and others.Staff confirmed that doctors attempted to revive her, but she showed no signs of life when brought in . A statement from Bellevue’s RMO referred further queries to cardiologist Dr Vijay Lulla, while Cooper Hospital’s AMO said the final cause would be confirmed only after the post-mortem.
