Mourners have paid tribute to "inspirational" make-up artist and influencer Irene Roozbayani who died earlier this month.

Irene - a popular figure at Fenwick - died on November 7, aged just 41. The make-up artist had been diagnosed with bowel cancer at the beginning of this year.

Four white horses pulling a carriage carried Irene's coffin to the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday afternoon, where hundreds of mourners had gathered. Her white coffin was also adorned with white roses on top.

Close friends gave moving eulogies at the packed out service before flowers and wreaths with handwritten messages were left in memory of Irene.

There were also tributes to the popular friend and colleague from those at Fenwick and Charlotte Tilbury. Donations were also collected in lieu of flowers in aid of the Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle.
