Lidl, Tesco, and Aldi issue product recalls urging shoppers to return to stores

by · ChronicleLive

Customers are being urged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers after several food items were recalled from various supermarkets. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons, including when products contain undisclosed allergens or if plastic is found in the item.

When a product is recalled, the FSA provides details on what consumers should do if they have purchased the item, as well as detailed information on why the item has been withdrawn from sale. Here are the latest product recalls:

Lidl

Lidl GB is recalling Meadow Fresh Potato Salads due to the potential presence of copper pieces, making these products unsafe to consume, reports the Liverpool Echo.
