Glastonbury 2025 full line-up confirmed as Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 to join music legends
by Daniel Bird, Sonia Sharma, Joel Leaver · ChronicleLiveGlastonbury organisers have announced the full line-up for the 2025 festival.
Fans are preparing for the event on Worthy Farm in Somerset, which will run from June 25 to 29 this year. Now, names of the performers have finally been confirmed.
This year, The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo will headline. Meanwhile, Sir Rod Stewart will play the legends slot.
The news comes following much speculation in recent weeks over the potential line-up. It was claimed in early March that organisers had signed up Olivia Rodrigo and the 1975 in a bid to "appeal to the youngsters". Nile Rodgers suggested in November that he would perform at this year's festival, though his potential involvement wasn't confirmed by organisers then, reports the Mirror.
Organisers had already announced in January that Neil would headline the Pyramid Stage. He had previously said he had pulled out of the festival. Days later though, Neil said he would perform at Glastonbury, saying there had been "an error in the information received," and his involvement was also confirmed by organisers around the same time.
In November, it was revealed that Sir Rod would play the Sunday teatime 'legend' slot - following in the footsteps of acts like Diana Ross and Kylie Minogue, who have been given the honour in previous years. He was the first act to be confirmed for this year's Glastonbury.
It will mark his first performance at Worthy Farm in more than 20 years after having headlined the Pyramid Stage in 2002. Announcing the news last year, he told fans at the time: "I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'll be playing @glastofest 2025! After all these years, I’m proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I'll see you there!"
