Manchester City star rushing for exit is front page news – Set to leave and initially for free
by Sport Witness · Sport WitnessKyle Walker is splashed across the front page of Saturday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, and then also takes up the next two pages of the famous old Italian newspaper.
The defender’s move from Manchester City to AC Milan is now seen as a sure thing and he’s presented as jumping at the opportunity. The Rossoneri only have one space available for a non-EU signing and Walker being so keen on the move, and that he can arrive for free, has pushed him ahead of Marcus Rashford.
Despite having had a firm approach from AC Milan, the Manchester United player has wanted time to assess his options, whereas Walker said yes immediately.
Gazzetta dello Sport report the move will soon be defined, and Walker will arrive from Manchester City on a free loan (presumably Milan will be contributing to wages) with a purchase option in the summer.
At that stage, Gazzetta dello Sport believe he could sign a two year contract with the Serie A club.
