‘Hull City go all in’ – Tigers fully committed to sign player, fee between €8-10m

by · Sport Witness

Hull City will return to the Premier League after overcoming Middlesbrough in the Championship playoff final in May.

The Tigers have to further strengthen Sergej Jakirović’s squad and identify a few targets.

Royal Charleroi SC’s Yacine Titraoui is on Hull City’s agenda for this summer.

The midfielder joined the Jupiler Pro League side from Algeria side Paradou AC in July 2024 and has been a regular. He played 3,543 minutes from 45 matches, even managing five goals and three assists.

Having missed out on AFCON, the Algeria international has made it to Vladimir Petković’s squad for the World Cup. It has also seen him attract interest from the Premier League.

On April 24th, Sport Witness relayed news that Sunderland and Leeds United are in the picture to sign him.

Hull City determined to sign midfielder

Foot Mercato have a detailed report on the 22-year-old’s journey so far and how he has developed at Royal Charleroi SC.

Yacine Titraoui came close to joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2023, but the move collapsed at the last minute. A year later, he moved to the Belgian club, and this has clearly worked out for him.

The Algerian played 75 matches, and his performances have caught the attention of other European clubs.

Foot Mercato mention the newly promoted Premier League side and insist ‘Hull City go all in’ to sign him.

Sergej Jakirović’s side have lined up and are ‘fully committed’ to secure his services. That’s all the report has to say about Hull City. He could leave Royal Charleroi SC for a fee between €8-10m.

Titraoui, for his part, is not in a rush and prefers to wait until the World Cup. He remains optimistic of further improving his game during the tournament, which could increase his value.

Contract, value and agent info

Yacine Titraoui’s contract runs down in 2027, with an option for another year. His value, as per Transfermarkt, is €7m.
