Meghan Markle has taken to social media and shared a previously unseen photo of her daughter Lilbet and husband Prince Harry together.

Meghan and Harry very rarely share photos of their children online as they try and keep son Archie and daughter Lilibet's lives as private as possible.

In a post on social media for International Women's Day, Meghan shared some sweet snaps of her and her mum, as well as the photo of Lilibet and Harry.

She captioned the post: "Happy International Women’s Day! Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day."

In the sweet snap, Prince Harry can be seen cradling their three-year-old daughter Lilibet as he gives her a kiss.

The new photo comes as Meghan's new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, features a never-before-seen photo from Meghan's baby shower during her pregnancy with Archie. While images of the event's culinary delights and floral arrangements have circulated before, this snapshot captures Meghan in front of an elegantly set table, clad in a navy and white polka dot dress, cradling her bump with a radiant smile.

In the show, Meghan also revealed that she considered Sussex as her new surname and the family's official name.

During one episode, Meghan is joined by comedian and actor Mindy Kaling to plan for a kid's party.

Their discussion touches on the Sussex family's eating patterns, when Meghan notes: "Well I have a family, a husband, who no matter what meal is put in front of him before he tastes it puts salt on, so I try to under salt."

Kaling's curiosity about Meghan's cooking origins leads to an admission: "I was a latch-key kid so I grew up with a lot of fast food and also a lot of TV tray dinners. It feels like such a different time but that was so normal with the microwavable kids meals."

When the topic of her former name came up, the Duchess of Sussex expressed a deep sense of pride in her title and family name: "You keep saying, Meghan Markle, you know, I'm Sussex now. You have kids, and you go, 'now I share my name with my children'...I didn't know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go 'this is our family name, our little family name',", reports the Mirror.
