Coleen Nolan's son, Jake Roche, has posted a heartfelt tribute to his aunt Linda Nolan following the lighting up of Blackpool Tower in pink to honour her memory. The entertainment industry and fans have been pouring out their tributes for the singer who passed away at 65 on Wednesday.

Linda was surrounded by her sisters in her final moments, which were described as filled with "love and comfort". Although born in Dublin, Linda became synonymous with Blackpool, where she rose to fame with her siblings as part of The Nolans in 1974, and it's also where she spent her last days.

On Wednesday evening, Blackpool paid homage to Linda by lighting its famous tower in pink, complete with a heart near the base.

Sharing an image of the glowing tower on Instagram Stories, Jake wrote: "I will miss my aunty Linda greatly. She was THAT Auntie. The one that let you stay up late, would occasionally let you swear, and would sit and go through the whole Mickey monologue from Blood Brothers with me until I had it down. She had a remarkable life and I take comfort in the fact she lived it authentically. Thank you for all your kind words."
