Maura Higgins' heartbreak advice amid Pete Wicks 'romance' talks

Maura Higgins has shared her two words of wisdom for anyone going through a heartbreak.

When asked on the Sheer Luxe podcast what her advice would be for anyone going through a break-up, the former Love Islander responded: "I think, prioritise yourself.

And, delving into further detail of what she thinks is best in the wake of a heartbreak, she added: "Talk to people, don't bottle it in.

"It's always good to have someone good to talk to like a best friend or whatever and I would probably say force yourself to like put on a bit of makeup and get out because you feel worse when you're just stuck in your house, looking like s**t and eating s**t as well." she told the Sheer Luxe podcast.

The topic surfaced amidst rumours that Maura is romantically linked with ex-TOWIE celebrity Pete Wicks. When probed about their speculated love affair on Loose Women, Maura downplayed the buzz, stating: "Do we really? I never really thought about it. Not really much to tell, we spend time together, get on really well, and he is a great person.", reports Lancs Live.

"But there is nothing to tell."

Pete Wicks echoed a similar sentiment in his conversation with Paul Brunson, maintaining a discreet stance on their relationship status: "Yeah, she's a great person, so my relationship with her is that I think she's a great person and I would hope that she thinks that I'm alright."

Despite the celebrities' attempts to avoid discussions about their romantic relationship, they have been seen together more often in recent months. This includes featuring in a TikTok video and being caught sharing a kiss after attending the Pride of Britain Awards on 21 October last year.
