Coleen Nolan 'wants to set Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford up on blind date'

Coleen Nolan is reportedly giving her close friend and Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford a helping hand in finding a new man after her split from Eamonn Holmes, an insider has claimed

Ruth Langsford could be set to reenter the dating market with a helping hand from Loose Women co-star Coleen Nolan, a source has said.

Ruth and husband Eamonn Holmes shocked the nation earlier this year when they announced their marriage is over, but now an insider has said that the Loose Women favourite is on the look out for a new man.

Bella Magazine have claimed that Ruth has called on her close friend and co-star Coleen Nolan for help as she looks to find love again.

The insider told the magazine: "Coleen wants Ruth to know this isn't the end of the road and that she will meet someone new. The thought of a blind date terrifies Ruth, but she's game for a giggle and Coleen is more than up for trying to set her up with someone."

While Ruth was reportedly not to keen to go back into the dating world yet, she has been encouraged to give it a chance by her friend Coleen, who has supposedly convinced her that there is no time like the present.

The insider added: "Right now though, Ruth wants to give herself more time before diving in. 'Coleen has told her that "it's out with the old, and in with the new" - and the two have been going out and having fun. Ruth has no idea how desired she is - men will be lining up to date her."

It was revealed earlier this year that Ruth and Eamonn had called an end to their 14 year long marriage, and rumours soon started to spread that one of the reasons could be that messages were found on the GB News presenter's laptop. While there are suggestions that Ruth may be ready to look for love again, Eamonn was recently seen heading off on his first holiday abroad with his new girlfriend, Katie Alexander. It is reported that they were travelling on a luxury cruise to the Mediterranean.

Before they split, Ruth and Eamonn had been married for 14 years and in a relationship for 28 years with the pair regularly appearing alongside each other to present This Morning on ITV.
