People Are Resurfacing A Viral Clip Of Dolly Parton's Gloves Causing Absolute Chaos Online, And It's Iconic

ALL Dolly Parton moments are iconic, like the time she convinced Jimmy Fallon to put on one of her 365 wigs.

And after her recent passing, we know Dolly Parton will remain unforgettable.

But there's one little Dolly memory from late 2022 that I will never stop thinking about...

It is a moment in time that SHOOK the entire internet, and it happened during Dolly's performance at the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

After Dolly posted a TikTok clip of the opening of her performance that night, it racked up nearly 23 million views.

And people quickly started noticing her gloves:

Then, all of the people who didn't know that Dolly wore gloves started making reaction videos, like this one that reached nearly 12 million views.

Of course, the true Dolly fans already knew her gloves were old news back then:

But it didn't stop millions of people, including Eminem's daughter, Hailie Jade, from talking about it for weeks!

While fans have speculated that Dolly’s gloves could be for everything from arthritis to covering scars, Dolly herself never publicly confirmed either explanation.

In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Dolly revealed that her pastel tattoos were designed to cover scars that can develop keloid tissue and leave behind a purple tint. She later told Good Morning America that some of those scars are covered with butterfly and flower tattoos. 

When Dolly wore her nude gloves, which I am 99.9% sure she is wearing them here, they matched her skin tone PERFECTLY.
