The Internet is abuzz with the news of a surprise Nathan Fielder documentary following the infamous scammer and former founder and CEO of Theranos, Elizabeth Holmes.

A24's You Can See Everything, which premiered in secret on September 6 at the Telluride Film Festival, begins in 2023, several weeks before Holmes's prison sentence began.

The film's synopsis reads, "Thirty-four days before she's sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss."

For those who (somehow) don't know, Elizabeth Holmes quickly rose to fame in Silicon Valley after founding her now-defunct blood-analyzing company, Theranos, in 2003. She claimed that her company's technology could provide quick and accurate blood test results with just a finger prick, making typical blood draws obsolete. In 2022, however, Holmes was sentenced to 135 months for defrauding investors of hundreds of millions of dollars. Theranos never delivered on its promises, yet Holmes convinced investors, government officials, and the public that Theranos could change the face of healthcare.

Even so, the Internet agrees that Elizabeth Holmes's personality is perhaps even more fascinating than her fraud. From her lack of blinking to her allegedly fake baritone voice, there's a lot to unpack. Luckily, comedian, satirist, and documentarian Nathan Fielder is the perfect man for the job.

Fielder is known for his awkward, social meta-experiments that blend fiction and reality, and the trailer for You Can See Everything promises no different.

Those of us who weren't at the secret screening at Telluride will have to wait at least a month to see the film in all its glory, but the internet is already having a field day with its trailer, which features Fielder and Holmes in an unnaturally long stare-off, as she assures him, "I'm always being real," viewers can practically see Fielder's mind breaking in real time.
