If you don't know, the two are longtime friends who first met at a Golden Globes party in 2014. They quickly became close, and in 2015, Jaime even made Taylor the godmother of her son, Leo, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kyle Newman.

Following Jaime's absence from Taylor's wedding, a source suggested to Page Six that the two were no longer friends.

But Jaime has refuted the report, saying her absence from Taylor's wedding had nothing to do with their friendship.

“The reason Jaime chose Taylor as Leo Thames’s godmother is because they both believe that being a godmother is a deeply personal and spiritual commitment that has nothing to do with public appearances,” her rep said in a statement shared with People and Page Six.

The representative added that Leo is “still too young for a large adult wedding celebration. But he and his mother were able to joyfully celebrate Taylor and [Travis] Kelce’s marriage in his own very special, age-appropriate way during his summer break.”

Representatives for Jaime declined to provide further comment.
Jaime isn't the only longtime friend who missed Taylor's wedding. Blake Lively was also absent.

Around the time that Taylor and Travis married in Madison Square Garden, Blake was pictured in upstate New York with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. She and the singer were also once notably close — Taylor's even the godmother of Blake and Ryan's four children — but they reportedly fell out amid Blake's legal drama with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. Even so, the wedding still drew a star-studded guest list, including Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, several of Travis's NFL friends, and many more.
