On Tuesday, he announced Pete Hegseth would be his Secretary of Defense.

Pete Hegseth is a Fox News host and Army National Guard veteran. Trump chose him as his Secretary of Defense pick because he's "tough" and a big supporter of the "America First" agenda.
But we're not here to talk about Hegseth's qualifications; we're here to talk about an unearthed 2015 clip of him hitting a drummer with an axe on a live Fox & Friends segment. Yep, for real.

As someone who is terminally online, I truly can't believe I have never seen this clip before.
For those wondering, the drummer was okay!
He posted on Facebook, "I was hit by an axe while performing a drum solo live on National TV…..words I never imagined saying! This happened last Sunday and I have been reluctant to post but starting to receive inquiries from concerned family and friends. I am thankful to God that the double sided blade only hit broadside on the outer elbow with significant impact and a couple of cuts as it fell along my wrist. It could have been much worse or fatal."
Nonetheless, the drummer still sued, but it's not clear what happened beyond that.
Either way, I think it's safe to say that nobody should be throwing axes in public places, period.
