“The worker was performing remediation work on a building complex,” the Mounties said in a written statement.

Police responded to the scene at 11 a.m. to assist Richmond Fire-Rescue.

“The individual’s injuries appeared to be minor,” police added.

The incident occurred at Fraser Place, a condo building in the Steveston area of the city, where a massive fire displaced several people and sent two to the hospital on Dec. 3.

The building is now under restoration by contractors, among others, On Side, a restoration service provider that has confirmed the incident.
