'Frenchie’s' funeral leads to some light moments in the final episode
'Frenchie' witnessed an unexpected end in the previous episode. It has undoubtedly led to a lot of debate among fans. But the situation takes a turn here as 'Kimiko' is possibly witnessing some change in herself, and 'Butcher' is also worried for her. This could be because she is grieving the loss of 'Frenchie,' and there is no chance that she will turn out to be extremely powerful. She also might not change into someone who is not going to stop so easily if she decides to express her anger over everything that happened. 'Frenchie' later appears in 'Kimiko’s' vision. The former tells her that her heart is her biggest power instead of the frustration built up inside.
'Homelander’s' intention is something different, and the 'Boys' are not going to stop
As usual, 'Homelander' has his own plans. He wants to see a new form of the universe, and he starts speaking to everyone. In between that, the 'Boys' are ready to take him down by entering the White House. While they enter a place that they had to avoid, 'Ashley' arrives to save them in time. The group decides to split and execute their plan. 'Oh-Father' is easily defeated by 'Mother’s Milk 'and 'Hughie,' followed by 'Starlight' and 'The Deep’s' confrontation, where the latter explodes.
On the other hand, as 'Homelander' is addressing the nation, something happens to him, and he starts showing his real side to everyone. 'Butcher,' 'Kimiko,' and 'Ryan' join hands to take down 'Homelander.' 'Kimiko' takes away the spotlight here as she triggers an explosion that takes away the power of all three 'Supes,' including 'Homelander.' This is followed by 'Homelander' finally being killed by 'Butcher.'

'Butcher' approaches 'Ryan' to become a part of the family, but the latter is not interested. On the other hand, 'Butcher' is worried that 'Vought' will continue its activities and decides to put an end to everything. 'Butcher' puts the virus in the sprinkler system of Vought headquarters, but he is stopped by 'Hughie.' Unfortunately, 'Butcher' dies after being hit by a bullet.
'Ryan' and 'Mother’s Milk' leave together. On the other hand, 'Kimiko' is on her way to France to pay her respects to 'Frenchie.' 'Singer' has been appointed as the president once again.
