Karan Kundrra Proposes To Tejasswi Prakash On 'Desi Bling' 4 Yrs After Dating, Actress Left In Tears

After dating for four years, Karan Kundrra proposes to Tejasswi Prakash on their new reality show, 'Desi Bling', with a huge diamond ring.

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash are one of television's most beloved couples. Their chemistry had left fans wondering when they would tie the knot. Well, it seems fans' prayers have finally been answered, as Karan recently proposed to Tejasswi. What made it even more special is that he did it in their recent reality show, Desi Bling.

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have often made headlines with rumours of their marriage. Now, however, it looks like the time for their wedding is approaching after Karan got down on one knee for his ladylove on their reality show, Desi Bling. For those unaware, the show is a spin-off of Dubai Bling, which premiered on Netflix on May 20, 2026. In the show's recent episode, Karan took the help of the rest of the cast, which includes Rizwan Sajan, Satish Sanpal, Adel Sajan, Dyuti Parruk, Janvee Gaur, Sana Sajan, Lailli Mirza, Alizey Mirza, Tabina Sanpal, Pamela Serena and Iryna Kinakh, all of whom are luxury tycoons and socialites, to plan the grand proposal for Tejasswi. 

When Tejasswi did finally enter the lavishly decorated venue, she was completely shocked to see the glowing words, “Will You Marry Me?” floating across the water in huge, illuminated lettering. Soon after, Karan took the opportunity to get down on one knee and proposed to Tejasswi in Punjabi, asking, “Tejasswi Prakash, will you marry me?” Responding to his proposal, the actress, who appeared visibly emotional, said, “I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop.” Tejasswi went on to recall the earlier days of their courtship, when many people harshly judged their relationship. She said: 

“Jab hum mile the, toh bahut kuch hua tha… Jab hum bahar aaye, sab ne kaha tha ki yeh toh 2 hafte nahi tikenge. Kisi ne kaha tha main fake hu; kisi ne kaha tu fake hai. It’s been four years; we’ve seen everything, and we’ve been through everything.”

The atmosphere during the proposal grew even more emotional, especially as Karan laid his heart bare. He opened up about how his bond with Tejasswi played a major role in reshaping his worldview on romance and lifelong fidelity. Karan said: 

“‘Imperfectly perfect love story’, yeh tune hi term diya tha. Every year that I spent with you, it has changed the meaning of love for me. I never thought I would ever fall in love or commit. I want to thank you for bringing out the man in me, the man who has the guts to say, ‘This is it. It’s now and forever.’”

At the end of Karan's rather emotional speech, Tejasswi could not hold back any longer and burst into tears of pure joy. In the background, however, their co-stars cheered wildly for the couple. Fans of "TejRan" are also incredibly happy and celebrating with them as clips of their engagement continue to do the rounds on social media.

While on the show, fans quickly noticed their chemistry, and it became a major talking point among viewers that season.
