Not Lorna Hajdini, Chirayu Rana Was Sexually Assaulted By A Man? His Chatbot Convo Sparks Suspicion

The Lorna Hajdini and Chirayu Rana case has taken a new turn after screenshots of his alleged conversation with a chatbot surfaced.

Lorna Hajdini, an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase is currently under intense online scrutiny. She has been making headlines since April 30, 2026, after her high-profile lawsuit filed in the New York County Supreme Court was publicised. A junior male colleague, who filed the case using the pseudonym, John Doe, but was identified by media outlets as Chirayu Rana, accused her of sexual abuse. Recently, the incident took a different turn when his chatbot conversation surfaced, showing him describing allegations similar to those in his complaint. It raised questions on the credibility of his allegations.

Was Chirayu Rana actually sexually abused by a man instead of Lorna Hajdini?

Chirayu Rana accused Senior Executive, Lorna Hajdini of bombshell charges of sexual abuse, drugging, and racial harassment. According to his court filing, Lorna abused her power and started mistreating him in early 2024. After the issue gained media attention, screenshots of his past conversation with a legal chatbot went viral on May 2, 2026. Notably, the screenshots are from 10 months before his court filings and include his descriptions of scenarios similar to his allegations against Lorna. In the chat, he allegedly claimed to have been assaulted by a "former boss at Morgan Stanley", and there wasn't any mention of JPMorgan Chase.

Chirayu Rana also mentioned that the abuser threatened his career, bonuses, and promotional opportunities if he rejected the sexual advances. Another key allegation was that he was drugged with a date-rape drug and also racially abused. Overall, he cited repeated workplace harassment and being subjected to humiliating behaviour. Notably, while sharing details of the alleged abuse with the legal chatbot, Chirayu Rana consistently mentioned 'he' instead of 'she'. As Lorna Hajdini is a 37-year-old woman, it excludes her from the possibility of being the abuser. He even claimed to have "ample" evidence and left his name, phone number, and email address.

After the chat screenshots started widely circulating online, media outlets noted an inconsistency in Chirayu's claims between his latest statements and those from 10 months ago, with many even alleging that he lied and framed an innocent woman. However, that is subject to investigation. The public views that were completed in Chirayu's favour have now been divided into two groups, one that believes him and his allegations against Lorna Hajdini and another that believes the chat screenshots and considers him a liar.

Chirayu Rana is a 35-year-old investment professional who currently serves as a Principal at Bregal Sagemount, a private equity firm. According to his Bregal Sagemount profile, he is responsible for origination and underwriting investments across the software, healthcare, financial technology, business services, and consumer services sectors. Before his current role at his company, Chirayu held several positions at major financial institutions, including serving as Vice President at JPMorgan, where he focused on the technology and software sectors.

It is this professional experience of Chirayu that prompted the media outlet, Times Now to report that he was the victim of Lorna Hajdini. Notably, the report also noted that this information is highly contested and not confirmed as an absolute fact. According to the New York Post, Chirayu claimed that Lorna's abuse against him began shortly after he joined JPMorgan's leveraged-finance team in the spring of 2024. The report also stated that he did not report to Lorna and the two were simply colleagues on the leveraged finance team, which works on large corporate acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts.
