Recently, the diva came across a post shared by one of her fans, wherein he had edited the photo in such a way that it looked like he and Mrunal were celebrating Diwali together. Taking to the comment section, Mrunal wrote:

"Bhai kyu jhooti tassali de raha hain aap apne aap ko? Apko lagta hai aap jo nyeh kaar rahe hain woh cool hai? Ji nahi!"

However, a few minutes after writing the comment, Mrunal had a change of heart, and deleted the comment. She shared the post on her IG stories and praised the guy for the same edit. She wrote:

"Hope you edit good films one day! Good Luck Happy Diwali."

An user took to Reddit and shredded both the screenshots on the post. Reacting to the same, Netizens alleged Mrunal of doing damage control via the PR post. A user wrote, "PR ka chakkar babu bhaiya PR ka chakkar bahut dogla bana deta hai." While another fan commented, "What do you expect her to do? Do a comment war?"

Many even defended the actress and stated that maybe it's her PR team's mess up. A fan penned, "PR team mishap. probably two different PR agents." Another fan also wrote, "The PR agents are also normal people. they are often friends with these actresses. they do go rogue and talk these actresses into doing dumb stuff. this might be one of those cases. someone on her team probably posted its one without approval and once she or someone else from her team saw this and changed the thing. happens a lot."
