NYSC Shifts 2025 Batch C Registration Deadline Over Network Glitches
by Enioluwa Adeniyi · Naija NewsThe National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the online registration period for its 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation by 48 hours following persistent network challenges encountered by prospective corps members.
Naija News reports that the announcement was made on Friday in a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the NYSC, the delays experienced by some applicants stem from “network-related constraints” affecting the registration platform.
Embu said, “The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation. The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues.”
The scheme expressed regret over the inconvenience caused.
To cushion the impact of the disruption, the NYSC announced a two-day extension to give affected applicants more time to complete their registration.
Embu stated, “While management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues and ensure they enjoy seamless registration.”
She added that the new deadline is now “midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025.”
The NYSC appealed for patience from applicants as technical teams continue working to restore full system efficiency.
“In view of this regrettable development, management has extended the registration period by 48 hours… to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration,” the statement noted.
The scheme had earlier announced that online registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ would run from November 4 to November 9, 2025.
