President U Min Aung Hlaing visits Viettel telecommunications company in Hanoi

Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing visited Vietnamese telecommunications company Viettel in Hanoi on Thursday (September 4) evening during his official visit to Vietnam.

President U Min Aung Hlaing is visiting Vietnam from September 4 to 6 at the invitation of Vietnamese President To Lam. Union ministers, deputy ministers and other officials accompanying him also joined the visit to Viettel.

During his three-day official visit, U Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to meet President To Lam for bilateral talks, as well as Vietnam’s prime minister and chairman of the National Assembly. He is also expected to meet representatives of Vietnamese business organizations.

The Myanmar president will attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Economic Forum and visit digital technology and industrial facilities in Vietnam.

The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas including government and parliamentary ties, people-to-people relations, trade and investment, culture and other sectors.
