Pedro Pascal Face Reveal in The Mandalorian and Grogu Trailer

by · VULTURE

Disney is finally giving the people what they want: a Star Wars movie Pedro Pascal’s face. After premiering a teaser trailer during the Super Bowl, Disney dropped a full-length trailer for its first Star Wars film since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. Picking up after the events of season three of The Mandalorian, Pascal’s bounty-hunting Mandalorian Din Djarin and Grogu, permanently by his side, help the New Republic keep peace throughout the galaxy after the fall of the Empire. (For those needing a refresh on the timeline, this is set between the original and sequel films.)

Din and Grogu cross paths with Sigourney Weaver’s new character, Colonel Ward, who warns that their work “isn’t about revenge. It’s about preventing another war,” while Din seems to be content with taking out “every bad guy in your deck of cards.” Grogu, meanwhile, seems content with pressing buttons, eating blue macarons, and riding around in his new bassinet. Joining Pascal, Grogu, and Weaver in Jon Favreau’s adventure film are Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt and Martin Scorsese returning to voice-acting as a space fry cook.
