Winona Ryder Is Adding Wednesday to Her Schedule
by Jennifer Zhan · VULTUREStranger things have happened: Stranger Things star Winona Ryder is once again working with Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton on a spooky project. On February 23, Netflix announced that Ryder has joined the cast of another of the streamer’s blockbuster IPs: Wednesday. She’ll have a guest role in season three as a character named Tabitha. Ryder, Ortega, and Burton most recently collaborated on 2024’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The trio don’t have to wait any longer to reunite — according to Netflix, production on the upcoming season of the show is already underway near Dublin, Ireland.
Other new faces in the Wednesday season-three cast include Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. Details about new characters are mostly being kept under wraps, but we do know that Eva Green will be joining the Addams family as Morticia’s long-lost sister, Ophelia. Burton said in a statement that he’s “excited” for season three, adding, “The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine — Winona, Eva, Chris, Noah … makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky.” We’ll snap to that.
