by · Irish Mirror

As all-Irish fights go, it doesn't get much bigger or better than this.

Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan clash in a massive world title eliminator on what is a cracking card from top to bottom.

Both men are undefeated, with Crocker's record now 20-0, with 11 KOs, while Donovan's in 14-0, also with 11 KOs.

The winner of this fight will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF world welterweight title, which is currently held by Philadelphia's Jaron 'Boots' Ennis.

However, he could decide to vacate the belt later this year following his bout with Eimantas Stanionis in Atlantic City this April, meaning either Crocker or Donovan could find themselves fighting for a vacant belt on home soil.

Quotes corner

Lewis Crocker: "I'm a domestic level fighter to his eyes. In his team's eyes, they're miles ahead of me. So he's talked all this nonsense the whole way through.

"But you've got to back it up. And I feel like I've been calm the whole time. Because I know what they expect.

"I've been here before. I think it's my sixth time headlining a show as well. So I feel like the pressure's going to be on him, he'll feel it."

Paddy Donovan: "I'm always confident in my boxing. But to say that I feel like Lewis could beat me, I would be lying. I don't see how he's going to beat me.

"I've never been hurt. I've never been dropped. Lewis is on about knocking me out so let's see.

"This is going to be the best version of me by far. You'll see it on Saturday, the things I've been working on.

"You'll see how fit I'll be, how strong I'll be, how determined. Everything is just going to be a lot better."
