Gogglebox's Amy Tapper shows off incredible five stone weight loss after 'every diet' failed

Gogglebox star Amy Tapper is absolutely radiant after unveiling her impressive five stone weight loss journey.

The TV favourite has put considerable effort into working out and eating healthy, and she's happily shared her significant accomplishment with her followers on social media.

Amy, who joined Channel 4's hit series in 2013 alongside her family, posted a side-by-side snapshot to her Instagram that highlighted the striking transformation, stating she "never thought" she would hit such a goal.

Dressed in a white vest top paired with black leggings in both images, it's clear to see the amazing difference in her appearance.

In addition to photos, she posted a clip of herself hopping on the scales followed by a joyful embrace with her personal trainer. She added a heartfelt caption: "Officially 5 stone down and I couldn't be happier. Never thought I'd be able to reach this milestone so I think I can say I'm proud of myself. Thank you for being by my side throughout it all @tashelite.fitness".

Amy's followers took to the comment section to offer their congratulations for her impressive achievement. A dedicated fan wrote: "Amazing! ! I hope you're as proud as we all are... I need some of your motivation and will power x", and another chimed in: "Amy you were beautiful before and still beautiful now but you are doing amazing. Well done xx".

Meanwhile, a third admirer encouraged: "Love this well done xxxxx go smash it", and yet another expressed: "Omg you look amazing and so pretty x".

Working alongside her trainer for the past couple of years, Amy had previously revealed that she managed to trim an astonishing 33cm from her waistline, reports the Mirror.

She confessed to struggling with her weight from a very young age and has attempted "every diet under the sun". Chatting to The Metro, she shared: "There was nothing specific because I've struggled with my weight since I was about eight years old... I've always tried every diet under the sun, I've done everything from shakes to this, to that.."

Amy quickly won over hearts on the show and her exit in 2018, alongside her brother Josh, and parents Nikki and Jonathan, left fans devastated. She told The Sun that their family sometimes needed to watch the news repeatedly and would shoot scenes for up to four hours straight.

After leaving Gogglebox, Amy kept up her TV appearances, joining the cast of Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Coach Trip.
