Earlier, Nandni Sharma snapped up a hattrick as well as a 5-wicket haul as she overshadowed Sophie Devine’s blistering 95 which eventually proved to be an innings which helped Gujarat Giants post 209. Earlier, Jemimah Rodrigues’ Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first against Ashleigh Gardner’s Gujarat Giants in match 4 of the Women’s Premier League season on Sunday in Navi Mumbai. While Delhi lost its opening game, Gujarat won its match on Saturday.
Although questions were raised about the Gujarat Giants team ahead of their first clash, they have passed all the tests which UP Warrirorz have put them through with flying colours. The side has a blend of international players who have good experience, and also a healthy crop of Indian uncapped players.

Capitals, on the other hand, are heavily reliant on their batting, but in the opening game against Mumbai, they could not deliver, and for them to have a good campaign, their batting needs to fire on all cylinders to compensate for the inexperience in their bowling. With the momentum on their side Giants might have an advantage going into the clash.
