Jailer 2 fan review: Rajinikanth-starrer 'a blockbuster in terms of sheer cinematic spectacle'

X user @TheDanceDirectr's post read, 'Where do I even start? Let’s start with the comedy and humour. The situations land, the one-liners work, and Yogi Babu makes you laugh just with his screen presence. (I’m still smiling just mentioning him!) @rajinikanth Sir, Sir, Sir, Sir… HOW, SIR? HOW? @Nelsondilpkumar, I’ve been following your craft since Doctor. You’ve evolved tremendously while staying true to your signature style. The scale, the ratios, the angles, the frames, the elevations, the moments… you’ve excelled in every department. I know how much you care about making frames look wide, grand, and larger than life. The compositions speak for themselves! And the star cast deserves a special mention. When an actor works tirelessly for over 40 years, you get a star cast like this, where fellow actors come together out of love and respect for the man and his craft. This film proves that time and again. Hrithik Roshan here looked like the director had collaborated with a Western actor! The reveal was so cleverly done that, for a good minute, you’re literally guessing who the actor could be, right until the car-side-door shot. A great story, a terrific interval block, and an excellent climax, with a few low moments that are easy to overlook. Indian cinema, please never stop making films like these! Mass entertainers are one genre where we continue to set the bar for the rest of the world. Jailer 2 is a blockbuster in terms of sheer cinematic spectacle and entertainment! And the cherry on top? Nearly 50% occupancy for a show on Day 10 in an international market!"
