Talking about Baahubali: The Epic, producer Shobu Yarlagadda said the film “will be a whole new experience” for fans of the franchise, adding that it features “advanced technologies such as Dolby Atmos sound, IMAX upscaling, and a freshly re-edited presentation.”

Originally released in 2015 and 2017, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion redefined Indian cinema, grossing over Rs 2,000 crore worldwide and paving the way for the rise of pan-India phenomenon. The franchise has since expanded with spin-offs such as the 2017 prequel novel The Rise of Sivagami and the animated series Baahubali: The Lost Legends.
