Nia Archives has remixed a track from Jamie xx’s recently released ‘In Waves’ album.

The renowned producer puts her signature jungle twist on ‘Waited All Night’, a stand-out collaboration from Jamie xx and his The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim – the trio’s first time recording together since 2017’s ‘I See You’ album.

Speaking on the remix, Nia Archives says: “was so buzzin to remix this one as ma favourite tune from jamie’s new album. had to go full happy hardcore mode on tha flip and it's been going off at all ma US/EU tour dates the past couple of months !!”

Recently, both artists have been playing the energetic track out to crowds, putting Jamie xx’s sets into faster realms.

Released September 20 via Young, ‘In Waves’ entered the UK album charts at number five.

It was the musician's first full-length record in nine years, following his GRAMMY, BRIT, Ivor Novello and Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album ‘In Colour’. Fans can expect more remixes in the coming months.

Other collaborations on the 12-track project include house legend Honey Dijon, Swedish singer Robyn and London hip hop artist John Glacier.

John Glacier will also be joining Jamie xx for his headline show at LIDO festival in June 2025, alongside other ‘In Waves’ collaborators Romy and Panda Bear.

In the meantime, the indie-musician-turned-electronic-producer is currently on a world tour, with dates scheduled across Asia, North America and Europe.

This year, Nia Archives became the first jungle artist to receive a Mercury Prize nomination in 26 years, since Roni Size’s 'New Forms'.
