Sean Combs, aka Diddy, has been found guilty on two of five charges he was facing at a trial today (Wednesday, July 2) in New York.

The disgraced rap mogul has been found not guilty on three sex trafficking and racketeering offences, including racketeering conspiracy, the sex trafficking of Casandra Ventura, and the sex trafficking of a Jane Doe.

Combs was however found guilty of the transportation to engage in prostitution of both Ventura and Jane Doe, both charges he now awaits sentencing for.

Each charge could land Combs up to 10 years in jail, meaning he could face a maximum of 20 years in prison for such offences.

Prosecutors have argued that he should remain in prison until a later sentencing hearing, though his attorneys have asked for him to be released on bail as of today.

“It is clear that the defendant does pose a danger,” said prosecutor Maurene Comey (via The Guardian), who said that they will attempt to push for the full 20 years.
