Manasseh raises questions over headmaster’s political ties Obuasi SHTS allegations

Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Manasseh said some of his sources had described the headmaster as having strong political connections and claimed that people with ties to him had intervened when he faced trouble over allegations of misconduct.
He was careful to note that he had not independently confirmed the identities of those allegedly involved.
“People who know him are now telling me that his political connections are deeper than we think. And they are saying he’s very close to some people, and I don’t have confirmations. I don’t want to put those names out,” he said.
Manasseh said people who had engaged in political activities with the headmaster were believed by some sources to have treated him as a personal friend and intervened when allegations emerged.
He also recounted information he said he had gathered about a meeting involving local political figures and school personnel to discuss how to resolve an earlier incident. The claims, he said, formed part of the political dimension emerging from his investigation.
“There are some people within the party who have had political activities with him. They see him even more as a friend than a party person,” he said.
Manasseh said these alleged connections needed to be examined alongside the conduct of education authorities and others who may have been in a position to act on complaints.
He stressed that he had not confirmed the identities of some of the people reportedly involved, leaving those claims to be established through further investigation.
