Their first big test of the season will come against Chelsea.
Under Xabi Alonso, the Blues have looked strong in attack but less convincing in defence.
Chelsea started with a 3-2 win at Fulham before beating Brighton 4-3 at home.
Against Brighton, Chelsea had just 26% possession and managed six shots on goal.
Arsenal have enjoyed the better results in this fixture in recent years. The Gunners have won their last three meetings with Chelsea.
In their most recent clash, Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

A win for either team will keep them close to Manchester City, who moved to the top of the table after a 1-0 win over Coventry City on Saturday to reach nine points.
