Mahama and Bawumia are wasting their time, I’m destined to be Ghan’s next President

Kofi Akpaloo, the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana(LPG), recently made a bold assertion in an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM on being Ghana’s next President

During the discussion, Akpaloo revealed that he believes his candidacy for the Presidency in the upcoming 2024 elections has been divinely ordained.

According to him, God has shown him that he will be the next president of Ghana, rendering the efforts of the other major contenders, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), futile.

“Both Bawumia and Mahama are wasting their time,” Akpaloo confidently stated. “God has revealed to me that I will win the 2024 elections, and it’s my time to lead this nation.”

Reflecting on his own journey, Akpaloo shared details of his humble beginnings. He recounted how, due to financial struggles, he had to drop out of senior high school during his third year.

At the age of 19, he began working as a barber at Kantamanto, one of Accra’s busiest markets, to support himself and his family. Despite these hardships, Akpaloo did not give up on his dreams. He later returned to education, where he pursued studies in chartered accounting.

In the interview, Akpaloo also spoke about his experiences abroad, where he observed the industrialization and digitization efforts of Western countries.

This, he said, gave him a clearer understanding of why Africa, and specifically Ghana, lagged behind in development. His overseas education and exposure to global advancements fueled his passion for economic growth and poverty eradication in Ghana.

“I have seen what makes other nations succeed, and I want to bring that same level of progress here,” Akpaloo remarked. “My mission is to lift every Ghanaian out of poverty.”
