Hearts TV trolls Asante Kotoko after FA Cup exit
by Ayeh Offei-Akoto · MyNewsGh.comAccra Hearts of Oak SC have taken the opportunity to mock their rivals after Asante Kotoko’s FA Cup exit as the two sides prepare to meet in the Super Clash on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors were eliminated in the Round of 16 following a tense goalless draw that ended in a 4–2 penalty shootout defeat to Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The loss added to a turbulent FA Cup campaign for the Kumasi-based club.
Seizing a chance to gain a psychological edge, Hearts of Oak used social media to taunt their rivals, intensifying the build-up to Sunday’s highly anticipated Super Clash on February 15, 2026.
The irony is not lost, as Hearts themselves suffered an earlier FA Cup disappointment, exiting in the Round of 64 at home to third-tier side True Life FC.
With both clubs seeing their FA Cup ambitions vanish, the Ghana Premier League title remains the only major trophy still within reach this season.
